FCR 2001 Duisburg coach Martina Voss admitted some defensive concerns to uefa.com after watching FCR 2001 Duisburg complete an 11-4 UEFA Women's Champions League victory against WFC Universitet Vitebsk.

Comfortable win
A 5-1 first-leg victory in Belarus had already effectively taken the holders of the former UEFA Women's Cup through, and they closed out the round of 32 tie by winning 6-3 at home in torrential conditions on Wednesday. Inka Grings shone again, scoring five times to continue what has been a spectacular year even by her own free-scoring standards, but letting in three left Voss lamenting the summer departure of Germany defender Sonja Fuss to 1. FC Köln.

Concern
Referring to the weather, Voss said: "Given the conditions I think all players on the pitch made the best out of it. Under those circumstances I am happy that the result from the first leg was so clear. But I do mind the three goals we conceded nevertheless, maybe except for the free-kick [Vitebsk's second]. We have really noticed the loss of Sonja Fuss. We don't have the stability in defence yet like we had last season. We have to work on this. The goals we conceded show us where we have to improve."

Linköping threat
They may need to on 4 and 11 November when they face a testing round of 16 tie against Linköpings FC. With the likes of Kosovare Asllani and Jessica Landström helping the Swedish league leaders score 25 unanswered goals in five games on their maiden European campaign, Voss is well aware of the threat Linköping pose. "This will be a completely different tie," she said. "There is nothing between the teams. I have a lot of respect for them. We now have cleared one hurdle and have to look at other difficult [domestic] tasks ahead before we can enjoy an exciting round of 16 tie."
