Tyresö FF will feature in next month's UEFA Women's Champions League final thanks to a 3-0 second-leg victory against Birmingham City LFC.

With last weekend's semi-final opener having finished goalless, it took just over an hour for the deadlock to be broken in Sweden, Christen Press registering her eighth goal in Europe this term after Marta had missed from the spot. The American international doubled the lead 11 minutes later and Marta completed the formalities in added time.

The hosts dictated the tempo for long periods of the first half, with Lisa Dahlkvist and Marta both going close. The pressure looked to have told shortly after the interval when Chelsea Weston handled in the area, but Marta steered the resulting penalty wide.

Spain forward Verónica Boquete then rattled the woodwork before Press made no mistake, combining with Malin Diaz and firing past visiting goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer. The English team's response was spirited, yet they fell further behind when Press scored from close range after Diaz's shot had been cleared off the line.

Press turned creator three minutes into added time, teeing up Brazil forward Marta, who produced a composed finish. Tyresö will now face VfL Wolfsburg in the 22 May Lisbon showpiece.
