Fortuna Hjørring 0-2 FC Rosengård (agg: 1-4)
Fortuna had hopes of avoiding a fourth straight round of 16 exit to Swedish opposition after the first leg in Malmo but just before half-time Ramona Bachmann was brought down and Marta dispatched the penalty. All doubt was removed when a Therese Sjögran corner was dropped and Katrin Schmidt turned in the loose ball for the Swedish champions.
Bristol Academy WFC 1-1 FC Barcelona (agg: 2-1)
Barcelona dominated the first 25 minutes, just as they had throughout in defeat at home, but then from nowhere a Corinne Yorston cross dropped on the crossbar, giving visiting goalkeeper Laura Rafols a scare. However, Vicky Losada levelled the tie on aggregate late in the first half; her free-kick was blocked but her second shot deflected in.
Bristol improved in the second half and their Spanish forward Natalia rattled the bar from distance, while Mary Earps superbly kept out a Virginia Torrecilla drive. Extra time loomed, but with eight minutes left Natasha Harding was fouled by Melanie Serrano as she turned into the box, and Nikki Watts converted the penalty to earn Bristol a maiden quarter-final.
WFC Zvezda 2005 3-0 Linköpings FC (agg: 3-5)
Ekaterina Pantyukhina put the Russian champions in front just 13 seconds after kick-off, but Zvezda's hopes of overturning a massive first-leg deficit were dwindling by the time José Nahi made it 2-0 on 58 minutes. Substitute Iya Andrushchak scored a third late on, as Goran Aleksić's side bowed out with dignity but they are already ensured a 2015/16 berth. Linköping have equalled their best-ever run.
