UEFA Women's Champions League holders Barcelona are looking to bounce back from an opening defeat as they welcome Hammarby to Spain in the second round of Group D games.
Barcelona's 2-0 Matchday 1 reverse at Manchester City on 9 October was only their second ever group stage loss, while Hammarby enjoyed a winning debut with a home success against St. Pölten by the same scoreline.

Barcelona have won all six previous games against Swedish teams, all against Rosengård, scoring a combined 26 goals and conceding just two.
Their biggest win came in the most recent meeting – a 7-0 victory on Matchday 4 last season. This is the third season in a row in which they have been drawn in the same group as a Swedish team.
The 2-0 loss at City on Matchday 1 in England was the first time Barcelona had failed to score in a group fixture.
Barcelona retained the trophy by defeating eight-time winners Lyon 2-0 in last season's final in Bilbao, goals from Aitana Bonmatí (63) and Alexia Putellas (90+5) helping the Spanish side win their third title.
It was their second in succession after beating Wolfsburg 3-2 in the 2023 final in Eindhoven in which Patri Guijarro (48, 50) and Fridolina Rolfö (70) found the net as the Spanish side rallied from two goals down at the break.
Barcelona have reached the final in five of the past six seasons, losing to Lyon in 2019 (1-4) and 2022 (1-3) in addition to their three triumphs.
The Spanish side have won 16 of their 19 group fixtures, their only other defeat a 3-1 loss at Bayern München on Matchday 4 in 2022/23.
Barcelona have won three trophies in 2024. In January they lifted the Supercopa de España Femenina before claiming a record-extending ninth Liga F title in a dominant league campaign consisting of 29 wins, one draw and no defeats. They clinched their tenth Copa de la Reina – also a record – with an 8-0 final victory against Real Sociedad on 18 May.
In charge since 2021, Jonatan Giráldez departed as head coach after last season's Champions League triumph; he has been succeeded by assistant Pere Romeu.
Hammarby
Hammarby are facing Spanish opposition for the first time.
They made a winning start to their first group campaign when Vilde Hasund opened the scoring after 18 minutes against St. Pölten in Stockholm on 9 October, Cathinka Tandberg making sure of the points two minutes from time.
Hammarby are taking part in a first Women's Champions League campaign in 2024/25 and have reached the group stage at the first attempt.
The Swedish outfit went directly into round 2, where they faced last season's quarter-finalists Benfica. Julie Blakstad gave the home side a 16th-minute lead in the first leg in Stockholm on 18 September, but Benfica hit back to win 2-1.
A week later in Lisbon, Blakstad once again scored in the 16th minute to level the tie. That set the stage for a 95th-minute Cathinka Tandberg goal to send Hammarby through at the Portuguese side's expense.
Hammarby claimed a long-awaited Damallsvenskan title in 2023, the second time they had been crowned Swedish champions and the first since 1985. They won 18 of their 26 league games (D5 L3) to finish tied on points with Häcken, earning first place courtesy of a +1 superior goal difference.
Bajen completed their first domestic double by lifting the 2022/23 Svenska Cupen, beating Häcken 3-0 in the final on 6 June 2023.
Hammarby are unbeaten away from home in any competition since a 2-0 defeat at Häcken on 25 May. Their record since then is W7 D1.
