Juventus and Arsenal are searching for their second Group C wins in the 2024/25 UEFA Women’s Champions League when the sides meet in Italy.
Juventus won their Group C opener at Vålerenga (1-0) before a 0-2 defeat at home to Bayern München on Matchday 2, while Arsenal followed a 2-5 defeat to Bayern with a 4-1 home win against Vålerenga.
Previous meetings
The teams met twice in the 2022/23 group stage, Arsenal's Viviane Miedema (61) cancelling out a Lineth Beerensteyn goal (52) in a 1-1 draw in Turin on Matchday 3, before Miedema (16) scored the only goal of the game in London two weeks later. Arsenal ultimately topped Group C, with Juve finishing third.

Juventus are looking for a first-ever victory against English opponents, their only other experience of facing a Super League side coming in the 2021/22 group stage. After going down 1-2 at home to Chelsea on Matchday 2, they played out a goalless stalemate in Kingston on Matchday 5.
A 29th-minute Sofia Cantore strike was enough for victory against Vålerenga on Matchday 1 this season, before that home defeat to Bayern.
This is the Italian side's seventh successive season in European competition since their debut in 2018/19. It is also their third time in the group stage, last season the only time they have missed out in the current format.
A run to the quarter-finals in 2021/22 is Juve's best showing to date. After finishing second in a group containing Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Servette, they were eliminated 3-4 on aggregate by eventual champions Lyon in the last eight.
A team managed by Joe Montemurro won just one game in the competition last year, 6-0 against Kazakhstan's Okzhetpes in the round 1 semi-final in Germany. Three days later they were eliminated by Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties (4-5) in the final after the sides had played out a 1-1 draw.
Juventus began in round 2 this season and overcame Paris Saint-Germain 5-2 on aggregate (3-1 h, 2-1 a). Amalie Vangsgaard (7), Cantore (34) and Hanna Bennison (61) struck in the first leg in Biella on 18 September while Cantore (3) was again on target in the Paris return, Barbara Bonansea (72) sealing the win.
Le Bianconere have been back-to-back runners-up in Serie A, and claimed their fourth Supercoppa Italiana with a 2-1 win over Roma on 7 January.

Away record vs Italian clubs W2 D1 L1
Arsenal have won five of their last six encounters with teams from Italy (D1), scoring 12 goals in that stretch and conceding just twice.
The Gunners' first meeting with Italian opponents remains their only defeat – a 0-2 loss to Torres Terra Sarda in the 2004/05 UEFA Women's Cup quarter-final first leg in Sassari. They would ultimately progress to the semi-finals with a 4-1 victory in the home second leg.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their three trips to Italy since that defeat (W2 D1).
Mariona Caldentey has scored in both group games this season.
Arsenal were crowned champions of Europe in 2006/07 when they defeated Umeå in a two-legged final. Alex Scott's swerving effort from distance in the final moments of the first leg in Sweden was the only goal across both games.
The Gunners remain the only English club to win the competition. In addition to their 2007 triumph, they have reached the semi-finals on a further six occasions.
This is Arsenal's 17th participation in the Women's Champions League; they are in the group stage for a third time having missed out last season.
Their 2024/25 Women's Champions League journey began with a 6-0 win over Rangers on 4 September at Meadow Park, Caitlin Foord scoring four, before they beat Rosenborg 1-0 in the round 1 final at the same venue three days later. In round 2, the Gunners lost 0-1 in the first leg away to Swedish side BK Häcken, but a 4-0 home victory in the second leg sent them into the group stage.
Arsenal finished third in the Women's Super League last season, five points behind both Manchester City and champions Chelsea, but Jonas Eidevall did lead them to a second consecutive FA Women's League Cup title.
Eidevall stepped down on 15 October after three years in charge; Renée Slegers was appointed as his interim replacement.
