Paris FC and Real Madrid meet for the second time in the 2025/26 UEFA Women's Champions League as Stade Charléty in France hosts the first leg of their knockout phase play-off tie.
With a record of two wins, two draws and two defeats in the league phase, Paris FC finished tenth in the standings on eight points, with Madrid – who won three of their six matches (D2 L1) – three points better off in seventh.

The teams met in Madrid on Matchday 3, Caroline Weir's 98th-minute strike salvaging a 1-1 draw for the home side after Lorena Azzaro had put Paris FC in front from the penalty spot four minutes before half-time.
Paris FC had won the sides' two previous meetings in Group D of the 2023/24 Women's Champions League, 2-1 in France and 1-0 in Spain.
This is Paris FC's third fixture this season against Spanish opposition and a second in succession having lost 0-2 at home to Barcelona on Matchday 6. Their only other contest against a Spanish team came as Juvisy in 2006/07, where they lost 1-0 to Espanyol in a first qualifying round match in Livingston, Scotland.
After losing five of their first six games against French clubs (D1), Real Madrid are unbeaten in two this season, that 1-1 draw with Paris FC following a 2-1 victory at Paris Saint-Germain on Matchday 2 – their first win against a French club.
That was Madrid's fourth visit to France, and the first time they had avoided defeat.
Losing 0-8 on aggregate to Manchester City in round 2 last season, Paris FC reached the group stage in 2023/24 where, despite those two wins against Real Madrid, they finished third. Formerly known as Juvisy, they made it as far as the semi-finals in 2012/13.
The French club entered European competition this season in the third qualifying round and progressed to the league phase courtesy of a 2-0 aggregate win over Austria Wien (0-0 h, 2-0 a).
Paris FC are in the knockout phase of the Women's Champions League for the first time in the group stage/league phase format. Their last appearance in a knockout tie came as Juvisy in 2012/13, before the club adopted its present name.
Madrid reached the quarter-finals last season for the first time since their debut in 2021/22, losing to champions Arsenal (2-0 h, 0-3 a) after finishing second in a group containing Chelsea, Twente and Celtic.
Madrid made it through qualifying to reach the group stage in each of their last four entries, and followed suit for the inaugural league phase this season. Entering at the third qualifying round, the Spanish side progressed with a 5-1 aggregate triumph against Eintracht Frankfurt (2-1 a, 3-0 h).
Madrid have reached the knockout stage for the second season running and the third overall in their five European campaigns.
