Fantasy rules in full

How can you score points in Women's Champions League Fantasy Football?

There are various ways to score points in Women's Champions League Fantasy; here are some of the key ones:

• Goals (4 points for forwards, 5 points for midfielders, 6 points for defenders and goalkeepers)

• Assists (3 points per player, any position)

• Every three balls recovered (1 point)

• Clean sheets (4 points for goalkeepers and defenders, 1 point for midfielders)

• Other goalkeeping (1 point for every 3 saves, 5 points for saving a penalty)

• Player of the Match (3 points)

• Appearances (1 point per appearance, 1 additional point for completing 60 minutes)

• Captain (a captain's points will be doubled for that matchday)

Appointing a captain

With double points available for whichever player ends a matchday wearing your captain's armband, switching captains within a matchday can help managers maximise their Fantasy total.

Just as you can switch out players in your starting line-up who don't score as heavily as you hoped on the first night of a matchday, you can also give the captain's armband to another player yet to play before the second night's fixtures begin.

Leagues

Challenge friends, family, colleagues and fellow fans by setting up a private league. Share the code to compete to see who comes out on top at the end of the season.

You'll also be automatically entered into three public leagues – the overall leaderboard, one with other players from your country and one with other players who support the same Women's Champions League team.
