šļø Travelling to Arena Thun
It is recommended to plan your journey in advance and make your way to the stadium at least two hours before kick-off to make the most of the pre-match atmosphere and to pass through security and ticket checks.
There will be dedicated shuttle buses on matchday operating between Thun train station and Arena Thun.

Bus line 3 operates from Thun train station every 10 minutes towards the stadium. Get off at Arena Thun stop.

Alternatively, use bus line 2 from Thun station towards the stadium.
Get off at Zentrum Oberland, and take the short walk to Arena Thun.

The walk from the Fan Zone / Waisenhausplatz is well signposted. Via Thun, Progymatte along LƤnggasse towards Arena Thun.
ā²ļø Journey time: Approx. 45 mins
For the most convenient route, use Allmendingenallee. Bike parking spaces are available around the stadium.
Travelling by car is not recommended during Womenās EURO 2025. Please use public transport. There will be road closures and traffic restrictions in place between the city centre and the stadium.
Parking for private cars is available on a āfirst come, first serveā basis at P WEURO.

š¶ From the car park, itās a 20-minute walk to the stadium.
š Alternatively, shuttle buses will be operating between the parking areas and Arena Thun before and after the match.

From Spiez, use motorway exit āThun Südā
From Bern, use motorway exit āP WEUROā (signage will be in place)
Travelling by taxi or rideshare is not recommended on matchday due to road closures and traffic restrictions around the city centre and stadium.
If you must travel by taxi or rideshare, a very quick drop-off / pick-up is allowed on the Allmendingenallee side of the stadium. Please be ready to pay and exit the vehicle quickly and safely.

š Shuttle buses to Thun centre will run from the same location as the drop-off.
š¶ Enjoy an approx. 45-min walk back towards the train station and the centre of Thun; head along LƤnggasse until you reach your desired location.
š Free matchday travel
As a Womenās EURO match ticket holder, you can travel from anywhere in Switzerland to the stadium and back on the day of your match ā for free! The offer is valid for the entire Swiss public transport network.
Simply show your mobile match ticket to staff on public transport services if requested.
Free matchday travel is valid:
- For Womenās EURO 2025 ticket holders only
- For a return journey from any Swiss locality to the match venue (stadium) via the direct route
- On all rail, trams, buses and boats in the Swiss public transport network
- On the day of your match only (from 00:00 until the last scheduled stop that can be reached before 05:00 on the following day)
- In second class only (upgrade to first class possible at regular upgrade fare, see the SBB website for more info on how to upgrade)
Free matchday travel does not cover journeys outside of Switzerland.
Children also require a Womenās EURO match ticket to enjoy free matchday travel.

ā¹ļø Travelling by train in Switzerland
Extra trains during the tournament š„³
SBB will operate more than 400 extra trains during UEFA Women's EURO 2025 to make travelling home after the matches a breeze.
Late night services from the Host Cities to various locations across Switzerland will ensure you get home safely and comfortably after your match.
Check the online timetable (SBB app / website) for your connections and live departure information. Look out for the "EXT" icon to find the extra trains.

Getting from one host city to another is easy and fast via public transport.
Buying tickets
You must purchase a valid ticket before boarding public transport on days when you are not attending a match.
Tickets can be purchased online, on the SBB app or at ticket machines, which are present at most train stations in Switzerland. Tickets for other public transport, such as trams and buses, can also be purchased at train stations, on the SBB app or from ticket machines at respective stops.

š Free public transport for Womenās EURO ticket holders
On matchday, match tickets will be valid for a second-class return journey on public transport from any Swiss locality to the match venue. Check below for more info ā¬ļø
š Entry requirements: If you are travelling from an EU / Schengen country, you can enter Switzerland with your national ID card or passport.
Residents of non-EU / Schengen countries, such as the United Kingdom, require a passport that has been issued within the last ten years and is valid for at least three months after the intended date of departure from Switzerland.
