Our partnership model

As the governing body of the European game, we work closely with our stakeholders to unite an ever more complex football ecosystem.

Our partnership model ensures that European football can deliver more together than it ever could alone.

Building on the spirit of trust that underlies all UEFA stakeholder relations, we leverage the myriad expertise and networks of the continent’s 55 national associations, leagues, clubs, players, supporters and political institutions to guide decisions and shape new policies.

“Unity is the driving force in European football. Collaboration between UEFA, our member associations and stakeholders has provided valuable insights and strength to help us overcome challenges and achieve shared successes.”

UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin

Whatever the consultative process – statutory committees, joint workshops, ad hoc working groups or formal cooperation agreements – we ensure that each of our stakeholders has a voice in decisions affecting the game’s future. For example, since its first edition in 2021, the annual UEFA Convention on the Future of European Football brings together Europe’s football community – political and sporting – to address emerging issues in the game.
