UEFA.com picks out five in-form players who could return significant points on Matchday 11 of #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation, with Ferran Jutglà, Pascal Gross, Vangelis Pavlidis, Achraf Hakimi and Mohamed Salah all delivering consistently in recent weeks.
Ferran Jutglà (€6.6m) – Club Brugge
Those in the market for a budget-friendly forward on Matchday 11 may look towards Jutgla, who has found his scoring touch lately. The striker played a key role in Club Brugge's progression from the knockout phase play-offs, scoring in both legs against Atalanta and also adding an assist. With a very small ownership percentage, Jutglà – who was also on target in the league five days after the second-leg win at Atalanta – offers differential appeal to Fantasy managers when the Belgian side welcome Aston Villa.
Pascal Gross (€6.5m) – Dortmund
Gross is another under-the-radar option who, based on recent Europe and domestic performances, could make a significant impact in the round of 16. The midfielder scored against Sporting CP in the first leg of Dortmund's Champions League knockout phase play-off and his nine ball recoveries in the second leg meant that he accumulated 15 points in the tie. In the Bundesliga, Gross registered a remarkable four assists in a 6-0 victory against Union Berlin on 22 February, illustrating his potential for Matchday 11 at home to Lille.
Vangelis Pavlidis (€6.7m) – Benfica
Few strikers in Europe have been as prolific as Pavlidis lately, the Benfica frontman forward's rich vein of form bringing 11 goals in his last ten appearances across all competitions. In the round of 16 the Greek international is reunited with a Barcelona side against whom he scored a hat-trick during a nine-goal thriller in the league phase, part of eight attacking returns and 45 Fantasy points in his last four outings.
Achraf Hakimi (€5.6m) – Paris Saint-Germain
Fantasy managers who invested in Hakimi for both legs of Paris Saint-Germain's knockout phase play-off were rewarded with 19 points after the full-back recorded clean sheets and assists both home and away against Brest. The 26-year-old now has five assists in the Champions League this season – the joint-most among all players – and is the top points scorer in his position. Hakimi, whose team are at home to Liverpool on Matchday 11, further emphasised his attacking prowess with two Ligue 1 goals at Lyon on 23 February.
Mohamed Salah (€10.1m) – Liverpool
A player rarely out of form, Salah has been particularly productive of late with nine goals and five assists in his last nine appearances across all competitions. The Egyptian is comfortably the top scorer and top assist maker in the Premier League this season with 42 goal involvements in his 28 appearances and had a hand in seven goals, winning two Player of the Match awards, during Liverpool's league phase campaign. Salah features in 27% of teams at the time of writing and it would take a brave Fantasy manager to go without him in the round of 16.
