UEFA Academy

We train leaders, specialists and players to supply the world’s favourite sport with the best professionals.

The UEFA Academy

With a global network of over 3,500 graduates, the UEFA Academy offers a wide range of education and research programmes to help administrators, players and specialists develop careers in a range of football-related activities.

In 2022/23, 922 students representing 456 organisations from across the global football community – confederations, associations, leagues and clubs – graduated from 19 UEFA Academy courses.

Working closely with leading professionals and universities, UEFA Academy courses cover numerous disciplines, including football management, leadership, administration, communication, law and football medicine. We also tailor programmes to cater specifically to the needs of players, both on and off the field.

The UEFA Academy

Reinvesting in European football

The UEFA Academy is an example of how we reinvest revenue generated by our elite competitions back into the European game’s development. It offers free personal and professional development courses to staff at all 55 of our member associations, with benefits spreading across all levels of the football pyramid.

“At the heart of our ethos lies the belief that genuine progress stems from an insatiable curiosity, a commitment to lifelong learning, relentless improvement, and fostering a robust community of peers.”

Thomas Junod, Head of the UEFA Academy

Our programmes reserve places for professionals working outside of European football associations, allowing more members of the football community to advance their specialist skills.

Join us at the UEFA Academy and start a journey towards unparalleled success in the beautiful game.

Introduced in 2024, LIFT allows a learning function to evaluate and benchmark how it delivers impact to its stakeholders against industry standards.
