F.Y.R. Macedonia round-up: Vadar take advantage of Belasica defeat

FK Vardar took advantage of a slip-up by leaders FK Belasica GC to draw level on points at the top of the Macedonian championship play-offs today.

Catch up
Mario Petkow scored both goals as Vardar beat FK Sloga Jugomagnat 2-0, while Belasica lost by the same scoreline at FK Rabotnicki. Dule Nedeljkovik and Sase Milosevski were on target to leave Belasica at the summit on goal difference alone.

Late goal
In the other championship game, Toni Micevski struck with three minutes left to earn FK Pobeda a 1-1 win at FK Cementarnica 55.

Simovski double
In the relegation play-offs, FK Osogovo boosted their chances of survival with a shock 3-2 win over the leaders FK Sileks. Two goals from Ljupco Simovski, and one from Fernandes Jefferson, sealed the win after Fikret Kratovo has earlier put Sileks 2-0 up.

Looking up
 FK Makedonija Skopje are now five points adrift at the foot of the table after going down 2-1 at FK Napredok. Stefan Tolevski and Abdilj Demiri put Napredok in front, before Goran Ojlevski pulled one back for the visitors.

Pelister win
FK Pelister overcame FK Kumanovo 3-2 in the day's other game.
