Article body
Brøndby IF stayed top of the Superligaen with a 4-1 home win over Odense BK today, while second-placed FC København kept in the hunt with a 2-1 win at AGF Århus.
Key win
Brøndby scored all their goals in the first half, with Peter Madsen and Thomas Lindrup both scoring twice. Mwape Miti pulled a goal back for Odense in the 70th minute, but it was merely a consolation.
Seeing red
AGF are level on 65 points with the leaders after their victory over an Århus side reduced to ten men early in the second half by the dismissal of Liam Miller, following a heavy challenge on København left-back Peter Christiansen. Thomas Røll headed København in front and although AGF equalised through Søren Andersen on 70 minutes, a Peter Møller header gave the visitors the win.
Into third
FC Midtjylland moved into third place with a 2-0 home win over Akademisk Boldklub at the Ikast stadium. Morten Skoubo gave the hosts the lead after ten minutes and Thomas Thomasberg sealed the win in stoppage time.
Score draw
Vejle BK boosted their survival hopes by coming from behind twice to earn a draw at home to Lyngby FC. Christian Hansen put the bottom club in front two minutes after the break, but Vejle levelled through Bari 20 minutes later. Hansen restored the visitors' lead only for Christian Keller to score Vejle's second equaliser two minutes later.
Bidstrup winner
In the day's other fixture, Aalborg BK moved into fourth place with a 2-1 win over Viborg FF. Peter Tranberg gave Aalborg an early lead with a fine finish after five minutes and Stefan Bidstrup made it 2-0 on the half hour.
