Article body
RSC Anderlecht, Club Brugge KV and Sporting Lokeren St-Niklaas Waaslan remained at the head of Belgium's Juliper League as each team secured their second win in two games.
Seol double
Anderlecht, third last season, beat newly promoted KV Mechelen 4-1. Ivica Mornar opened the scoring for Anderlecht on 16 minutes, and soon afterwards Gilles de Bilde doubled the advantage. Eric Viscaal pulled one back for the visitors on 28 minutes, but Korean Seol Ki-hyeun restored the two-goal lead before half-time and completed the scoring shortly before the hour.
Maertens secures win
Brugge, second in 2001/02, overcame KSK Beveren 3-0. Andrés Mendoza and Gaetan Englebert put them two up before the break, and Birger Maertens's 70th-minute penalty rounded off the victory.
Three-goal Lokeren
Lokeren, who last week surprised reigning champions KRC Genk, gained a 3-1 win against KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen. Rúnar Kristinsson secured the first on eight minutes and Lokeren were two ahead just before half-time through Arnar Gretarsson's penalty. In the 83rd minute, Sambegou Bangoura made it three, making Paul Kpaka's late goal for Germinal scant consolation.
Champions back on course
Genk themselves bounced back to win 4-2 at R. Antwerp FC. The visitors were two goals up at half-time through Beli Moumouni Dagano and Bernd Thijs. Omar Mussa pulled one back on the hour, but Koen Daerden and Thijs again scored to secure Genk victory. Patrick Goots struck a penalty consolation five minutes from the end.

R. AEC Mons also secured their first win this season by beating KVC Westerlo 2-1, K. Lierse SK and RAA Louviéroise drew 1-1, and K. Sint Truidense VV's game against KFC Lommelse SK finished goalless.
