Members

Emile Heskey's late header rescued a draw for Liverpool FC against Arsenal FC as Newcastle United FC won again.

Emile Heskey headed a dramatic equalising goal in added time as Liverpool FC held champions Arsenal FC to a 2-2 Premiership draw at Anfield tonight.

Arsenal dominate
Arsenal dominated the match and opened the scoring through Robert Pires following a swift counterattack. The home side started the second half strongly and were rewarded when John Arne Riise drilled in a superb low drive in the 51st minute. Dennis Bergkamp restored Arsenal's lead, with the help of a deflection, before Heskey's late intervention.

Newcastle go second
The draw enabled Arsenal, who now have 52 points, to extend their advantage over Manchester United FC to six points, although United have a game in hand. However, Sir Bobby Robson's Newcastle United FC have moved ahead of United and into second place on 48 points after Jermaine Jenas struck the only goal of the game at Tottenham Hotspur FC with 30 seconds remaining.

Easy win for City
Manchester City FC warmed up for the imminent signing of Robbie Fowler with a 4-1 home win over Fulham FC. Nicolas Anelka, Ali Benarbia, Marc-Vivien Foé and Shaun Wright-Phillips scored for Kevin Keegan's side with Steed Malbranque replying for Fulham.

Precious win for West Ham
Meanwhile, West Ham United FC recorded their first home win of the season against Blackburn Rovers FC, Jermain Defoe sealing a 2-1 win late on, while West Bromwich Albion FC slipped to the bottom of the table after losing 1-0 at home to Charlton Athletic FC, Shaun Bartlett scoring the winner after 60 minutes.
