Defensive reinforcements
GAK, who are currently second in the table - a position guaranteeing entry to the Champions League second qualifying round, have signed two defenders in Matthias Dollinger and Emanuel Pogatetz.
New terms offered
The 23-year-old Dollinger arrives from second division club DSV Leoben on a two-year contract. Pogatetz, 20, joins on a 12-month deal from the Swiss club FC Aarau. GAK have also offered contract extensions to existing players Ronald Brunmayr and Boban Dmitrovic, a Serbia and Montenegro international.
Slender lead
However, Jürgen Hartmann and Ales Ceh will leave the club at season's end. GAK lead SV Pasching by a point, and SV Austria Salzburg and SK Sturm Graz by two, in the race for second place. FK Austria Wien are champions.
