The 39-year-old took charge of Synot last October and guided the team to eighth place in the table in 2002/03. However, the new campaign started with the club eliminated in the UEFA Intertoto Cup third round before taking just one point from their first four league matches.
Ondrusek steps in
Rabusic's last game was Saturday's 1-0 defeat at FK Jablonec 97. Frantisek Ondrusek, Synot's reserve-team manager, has been named as caretaker coach. Ondrusek, like Rabusic, was a goalkeeper in his playing days and his younger brother Miroslav is Synot's current No1.
