Oruma makes Marseille move

UEFA Intertoto Cup hopefuls Olympique de Marseille have secured the signature of midfield player Wilson Oruma.

Three-year deal
The 28-year-old has agreed a three-year deal at the Stade Vélodrome after his contract at Marseille's Ligue 1 rivals FC Sochaux-Montbéliard expired. He started 19 games for the club last term, scoring twice as Sochaux finished a disappointing tenth.

Fifth French club
Marseille, who become Oruma's fifth French team since he arrived at RC Lens in 1994, endured a difficult season but still finished sixth to earn an Intertoto Cup berth. Their campaign starts in the third round in mid-July when they will face either BSC Young Boys, Skála Ítróttarfelag or Tampere United.
