SK Rapid Wien defender Krzysztof Ratajczyk has agreed to join rivals FK Austria Wien on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old Polish international defender, who has been at Rapid since 1996, will cross the city to join Wien to the surprise of many supporters at the Gerhard Hanappi stadium.
Good sense
However, the player's agent Janusz Feiner was keen to point out that the move made good sense to the defender, who has agreed a three-year deal. "Ratajczyk is a professional player with just a few years left and Austria Vienna offered him a clearly better contract," he said. "So a move is legitimate - isn't it?"
