FK Austria Wien have moved away from the chasing pack in the Austrian Bundesliga.

FK Austria Wien have increased their lead at the Bundesliga summit to five points after coming from behind to beat FC Kärnten 3-1.

Shock lead
The visitors took a shock lead on four minutes when Helge Kolvidson fired in from 20 metres, but Vladimir Janocko finished clinically three minutes before the break after a pass from Roland Linz to level and Brazilian forward Djalminha made it 2-1 from the spot. Manfred Rothbauer confirmed the win in injury time, played in by a fine run and pass from Janocko.

Sturm hit back
SK Sturm Graz moved third thanks to a 3-1 away defeat of SV Austria Salzburg, also overcoming a 1-0 deficit after Dominic Hassler gave the hosts the lead on 19 minutes. Arnold Wetl, however, hit back with a penalty six minutes later, and the same player was again on target from the spot to put his side ahead just before the hour, Imre Szabics adding the third. The result puts Sturm three points behind second-placed SV Pasching, who drew 1-1 with Grazer AK.

Bregenz held
Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz, knocked out of the Austrian Cup this week in the first round by second division side Hartberg, were held 1-1 at home by SV Ried. Oliver Mattle put Bregenz in front in the 19th minute, but Ried claimed a share of the points on 58 minutes through Muhammet Akagunduz.

Admira draw
VfB Admira Wacker Mödling, who also crashed out of the Austrian Cup on Wednesday to second-division Bad Bleiberg, stuttered to a scoreless draw with SK Rapid Wien.
