Norman Darmanin Demajo has been re-elected as president of the Malta Football Association (MFA).
Darmanin Demajo, who was first elected to his post in 2010, will be at the MFA helm for the next three years following his re-election at the organisation's annual general meeting in Floriana. "This vote of confidence means that the Malta Football Association is moving in the right direction," said the MFA president.
Active in football since 1968, Darmanin Demajo won three titles and three Maltese Cups during a nine-year spell at Valletta FC from 1973 to 1982. An amateur international, he represented the senior team in 1975 and 1976. A council member of the MFA from 1988, Darmanin Demajo joined the body's executive committee before serving as treasurer from 1992 to 2001.
