B36 Tórshavn 0-1 FC Torpedo Kutaisi (Aggregate 2-6)
FC Torpedo Kutaisi will meet Czech side AC Sparta Praha in the second round qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League after a narrow away win over B36 Tórshavn rounded off a comfortable aggregate success.

Torrential rain
The victory was set up by a 5-2 triumph in the first leg and B36 desperately needed to force the running to pull off a comeback. The Faroe Islanders were not helped by torrential rain and struggled to fashion any meaningful opportunities. They did help themselves, though, when Bardur Mortansson missed a golden chance from the penalty spot midway through the first half.

Tchanturia's block
Irish referee Paul McKeon pointed to the spot on 23 minutes after Mortansson was upended by Lasha Tchelidze in the box. But the striker's resulting kick was blocked by goalkeeper Grigori Tchanturia.

Janashia delivers
Kutaisi started the second half strongly and Malkhaz Asatiani tested keeper Rene Torgard several times before B36 began to make inroads at the other end. However, they were hit by a goal on the counterattack from Georgian midfield player David Janashia and there was no way back for the Faroese from there.

Safe hands
B36 reverted to route one and lobbed a succession of balls into the box that failed to threaten the faultless Tchanturia. Asatiani should have doubled the lead late on but Torgard parried his long-range effort.
