AFC Ajax coach Ronald Koeman welcomed a second new winger to the club in three days after signing Moroccan international Nourdin Boukhari.
Four-year contract
After Victor Sikora's arrival on Sunday, Boukhari has followed in a €1.5m deal from Sparta Rotterdam. The 22-year-old signed a four-year contract and immediately joined his new team-mates on their pre-season trip to Britain where they will face Celtic FC in Scotland and Norwich City FC in England.
Boost for Sparta
While Boukhari and Ajax can look forward to playing in the UEFA Champions League this autumn, the transfer will provide some much-needed cash for Sparta, who are attempting to raise the funds required for a new licence to play in the Dutch second division next season.
