Totti twist hurts Roma

Wounded knee 
According to press reports, the Italian international forward faces between 45 and 60 days on the sidelines after he twisted his left knee while attempting to avoid a challenge. Totti will undergo tests tomorrow but is already ruled out of the Giallorossi's pre-season friendlies against Real Madrid CF and Internazionale FC.

Doubtful starter 
With the new campaign due to begin on 1 September, Totti will almost certainly be watching from the stands when Roma take on Serie A newcomers Como Calcio at the Stadio Olimpico. He must also be considered doubtful for the start of the first group stage of the UEFA Champions League, in which Roma will compete.
