Further tests
Inter said through their official website: "We are calm and serene ahead of the further tests...because we periodically check our players. And all the tests he has undergone with us have been negative." If the second test proves positive, Kallon could face a suspension.
Banned steroid
Kallon, 24, is the second Serie A player to test positive for nandrolone in less than a week, after the Parma AC midfield player Manuele Blasi. The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) said that Kallon's sample had shown traces of two metabolites of the banned steroid.
Third season
The Sierra Leone international is in his third season at the San Siro, having previously played for Bologna FC, Genoa 1893, Reggina Calcio and Vicenza Calcio.
