Aachen part with Berger

TSV Alemannia Aachen have parted company with coach Jörg Berger in the wake of their German Cup final defeat.

Disappointing finish
Second division Aachen were beaten 3-2 by SV Werder Bremen on Saturday and also missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga on the final day of the league season. However, the club will play in the 2004/05 UEFA Cup as champions Bremen will enter the UEFA Champions League instead.

Possible return
The 59-year-old Berger could now return to his former club Eintracht Frankfurt, who sacked Willi Reimann as coach last week.
