Dinamo, missing Ionel Danciulescu - the leading scorer in the top flight - through suspension, were grateful to goalkeeper Cristian Munteanu who made two sensational saves to keep the match goalless. The capital club took advantage in the 66th minute when second-half substitute Vlad Munteanu made it 1-0.
Eleventh success
Munteanu then made another fine stop to deny Otelul, who fell 2-0 behind as Claudiu Niculescu struck in the 77th minute. It was Dinamo's eleventh success in the 66th edition of the Romanian Cup, leaving them nine wins adrift of FC Steaua Bucuresti.
Summer qualifying
Dinamo will compete in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League this summer, while Otelul enter UEFA Cup qualifying , along with Steaua, as cup runners-up.
