The former Czech international was carried off on a stretcher 37 minutes into Juve's 1-0 first-leg defeat after a clash of heads with Raúl Bravo. He only returned home on Monday following a spell in hospital and must now rest for a week before undergoing tests next Tuesday to determine if he can return to training. The game against Madrid the following day will therefore come too soon for the 32-year-old.
