Instant success
The 45-year-old Belarussian joined the Moldovan club two years ago to take charge of their academy, but was promoted to head coach in January 2004. He was an instant success, leading Sheriff to the title in 2003/04 and 2004/05.
Sliema test
Kouchouk, who has previously worked at FC Dinamo-93 Minsk, FC Torpedo-MAZ Minsk and FC Lokomotiv Minsk, will guide the team in the Champions League first qualifying round against Sliema Wanderers FC of Malta over two legs next month. The club will warm up with a home friendly against FC Dinamo Bucuresti on 5 July.
