Initial loan
The 21-year-old has agreed an initial one-year loan with the Dutch champions, with PSV having an option to make the move permanent at the end of that period. Koné has a contract at Roda until summer 2008.
Instant return
The forward could make his debut against Roda on Sunday when PSV travel to the Parkstad Limburg stadium for their third game of the season, although he will be unable to play in the UEFA Champions League group stage having represented Roda in the UEFA Intertoto Cup semi-finals.
Prolific form
Koné joined Roda in summer 2003 from Belgian side K. Lierse SK where he impressed with eleven goals in 32 appearances in his debut campaign. His good form continued at Roda, with 26 goals in two seasons, and he had begun the present term with two goals in the Kerkrade team's first two matches.
