FC Dynamo Kyiv have suffered their third injury blow ahead of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. Serbian midfielder Miloš Ninković sustained a broken ankle during Dynamo's Ukrainian Super Cup victory against FC Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday and is not expected to play again for at least six weeks.
Growing problems
"I fell awkwardly and felt a searing pain," said the 21-year-old Ninković, who is in plaster while he recovers. The news adds to Dynamo's problems following injuries to defender Vladyslav Vaschuk and striker Kleber, with all three likely to miss Dynamo's UEFA Champions League qualifier, against either FK Aktobe or FHK Liepajas Metalurgs, which starts next week.
