Injury confirmed
The French midfielder continued to play despite suffering the injury in the last 15 minutes of the pulsating derby as Inter coach Roberto Mancini had already used three substitutes. Vieira underwent a scan which confirmed the injury though it is not yet known how long the 30-year-old will be sidelined. Serie A leaders Inter, currently third in UEFA Champions League Group B with three points in as many games, will also be without Esteban Cambiasso in Moscow, as the Argentina midfielder is still recovering from a calf injury.
