The Olympiacos CFP coach Trond Sollied was left to rue "three bad moments" as the Greek side saw their hopes of reaching the knockout stages dashed by a 1-0 loss in Spain to a Valencia CF side who win Group D.

Trond Sollied, Olympiacos coach
We suffered three bad moments. The first came when we lost Michalis Konstantinou to injury so early, the second came when Valencia scored the opening goal so close to half-time and, obviously, the third came when we went out and lost the second goal so early in the second half. My players couldn't recover mentally or physically from that.

Quique Sánchez Flores, Valencia coach
I liked the fact that collectively we committed very few errors. The game was won either side of half-time. But we kept our concentration throughout and we keep progressing. Curro Torres had a pretty good game at left-back and Joaquín [Sánchez] keeps on improving and had a very good game. Fernando Morientes is a proven Champions League scorer and Miguel Ángel Angulo was also comfortable in attack.
