Hargreaves faces further frustration

Owen Hargreaves's comeback to full training from a broken leg has been delayed as he is limited to light training with Valérien Ismaël and Mehmet Scholl.

Owen Hargreaves's comeback from a broken leg has been delayed after the England midfielder was unable to take part in full training with FC Bayern München at their camp in Dubai.

Long absence
The 25-year-old suffered a broken fibula in September against DSC Arminia Bielefeld and has been unable to play since. He was hoping to be back in action in time for the resumption of the Bundesliga season on 26 January at BV Borussia Dortmund but now faces a further examination when Bayern return to Germany to see if he will be able to return. He is now only in light training with fellow injury victims Valérien Ismaël and Mehmet Scholl. His club meet Real Madrid CF in the UEFA Champions League first knockout round on 20 February and 7 March.
