Medal haul
The 31-year-old leaves for the Italian capital off the back of 20 goals in 85 league games over three seasons with the Spanish giants. At Camp Nou, the flamboyant France midfielder won back-to-back championships in 2005 and 2006, one Spanish Cup and the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League.

Friends reunited
Giuly started his career with Olympique Lyonnais in 1994 and made 100 league appearances, scoring 21 goals, before joining AS Monaco FC in January 1998. A further 47 goals in 184 Ligue 1 games followed as Giuly won the French title in 2000 and League Cup in 2002/03. Capped 17 times, Giuly will link up with his former Monaco team-mate Christian Panucci and compatriot Philippe Mexes at last season's Serie A runners-up who will join Lyon and Barcelona in the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League.
