Keita to be key for Sevilla

Sevilla FC hope Malian international Seydou Keita will bring his eye for goals to their midfield following his transfer from France's RC Lens on a four-year contract.

Sevilla FC have swooped for their third new recruit of the summer with the acquisition of Mali captain Seydou Keita from RC Lens on a four-year contract.

Goals galore
Having already signed Italian goalkeeper Morgan de Sanctis and Belgium midfielder Tom De Mul, Sevilla hope Keita, who scored eleven times in Ligue 1 last season in 37 games, will bring his eye for goals to their midfield. The 27-year-old had spent five seasons with Lens, having previously played for French rivals FC Lorient and Olympique de Marseille. Sevilla will play in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round next month, as well as the UEFA Super Cup in Monaco on 31 August against European champions AC Milan.
