'Slight problem'
Signed from FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the summer, the 32-year-old lasted just eight minutes of the 1-1 draw at Motherwell FC, having come on as a half-time substitute for Stephen Whittaker. Manager Walter Smith said: "He has a slight problem at the bottom of his hamstring which will keep him out for the next couple of games but hopefully he'll be fit when we come back from the international break. It's a blow to us because he is a threat to the opposition." The Ibrox club travel to Stade Gerland looking to add to their 2-1 success against VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 1.
