Article body
VfB Stuttgart will be without left-back Arthur Boka for their UEFA Champions League encounter against Olympique Lyonnais later this month after he suffered knee ligament damage on Saturday.
Boka blow
The 24-year-old, capped 30 times by the Ivory Coast, injured the ligaments in his left knee during Stuttgart's 2-0 Bundesliga defeat against Hannover 96. Boka will be sidelined for up to a month, ruling him out of the German champions' Group E game against Lyon on 23 October and possibly the return in France two weeks later. Boka's injury is a recurrence of a problem he originally suffered during training in August that kept him out of two Bundesliga matches.
