Moscow set for design unveiling

UEFA will unveil the visual identity created for the 2008 UEFA Champions League final in Moscow at a special ceremony in the Russian capital on 31 October.

UEFA will unveil the visual identity created for the 2008 UEFA Champions League final at a special ceremony on 31 October 2007 in Moscow.

Luzhniki ceremony
The ceremony will be held in the press conference room at the Luzhniki Stadium, venue for the final on Wednesday 21 May at 1300 local time and the design will be unveiled in presence of the ambassador for the final, goalkeeping legend Rinat Dasaev.

Unique design
The UEFA Champions League final has, in recent years, been given an identity of its own with a unique logo, a design concept and an overall theme. The objective is to help promote the final and enhance the prestige of one of the world's biggest sporting events. The initial idea that inspired the creation of a new identity for each final was to develop a specific design with a distinctive flavour of the host city.
