Striker Frédéric Kanouté may miss Sevilla FC's crucial UEFA Champions League game against Arsenal FC after being ruled out for two weeks with a calf strain.

Ongoing problems
The Mali international pulled a muscle in his right calf during Sunday's 3-2 league defeat by Villarreal CF and did not appear for the second half. The 30-year-old has already been ruled out of the league fixture against RCD Mallorca following the international break and is also a doubt for the visit of Arsenal on 27 November. Despite ongoing problems with a groin injury, the former Tottenham Hotspur FC player has scored 12 goals in all competitions this term. Sevilla are second in Group H, five points clear of third-placed SK Slavia Praha and one behind the Gunners.
