International record
A product of PSG's academy, Ngog has signed a four-year deal at Anfield. The 19-year-old appeared four times as a substitute in Ligue 1 in the 2006/07 season before playing a further 14 league games last term, scoring once as Paul Le Guen's struggling side finished 16th. However, the cousin of Olympique Lyonnais' defender Jean-Alain Boumsong has been far more prolific representing his country having scored at every youth international level to date.
Several signings
He is the second new arrival at Liverpool in 24 hours following manager Rafael Benítez's capture of 18-year-old Spanish right-back Emmanuel Mendy on a three-year contract. Liverpool, who finished fourth in the Premier League last season, have already signed goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri plus full-backs Philipp Degen and Andrea Dossena as they prepare to enter the UEFA Champions League in the third qualifying round.
