'Group winners'
A 2-1 win at Fenerbahçe SK on Tuesday meant that the Portuguese champions joined Arsenal FC as the sides that will progress from Group G, but Argentinian midfielder Costa was not resting on his laurels. "At the start of the season we set ourselves the target of winning the Champions League trophy. By reaching the next round we took a first step towards this. Now we will try to qualify as group winners."
'A great team'
Porto made light of the absence of the suspended Lucho by delivering a fine performance in Istanbul, with the 23-year-old Costa explaining: "There is a real confidence in the team. The players know that we get results by working together." Hulk, Porto's 22-year-old Brazilian striker, added: "I know that we are a great team. We needed a win here and we achieved this. Together we can achieve everything."
