Fernando Torres and Fábio Aurélio are likely to miss Liverpool FC's final UEFA Champions League Group D game at PSV Eindhoven, with both being ruled out for about a fortnight with injuries sustained on Wednesday night.

Official statement
Liverpool confirmed their place in the first knockout round of Europe's blue-riband competition with a 1-0 win against Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday, but Torres and Aurélio were injured in the process. A club statement read: "Fernando has a strain in his right hamstring and will be out of action for between two and three weeks. Fábio has a calf strain in his left leg and will be out for two weeks." The Merseysiders visit the Netherlands on 9 December to face bottom-placed PSV. The injured pair have each made three group-stage appearances this season, with neither the Brazilian full-back nor the Spain striker having scored.
