Mohamed Sissoko will miss the conclusion of Juventus's UEFA Champions League last-16 tie with Chelsea FC after breaking his foot during Saturday's 1-0 derby win against Torino FC.

Costly cameo
The Mali international was introduced with only six minutes remaining at the Stadio Olimpico to help shore things up after Giorgio Chiellini had headed what proved to be the winner for Juve. It proved a costly contribution, however, and tests on Sunday confirmed a fractured bone in his left foot. The player has been scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning in Turin and is not expected to play again for another three months.

Camoranesi out
The 24-year-old Sissoko has missed just one UEFA Champions League game for the Bianconeri en route to the last 16, and started the first leg away to Chelsea on 25 February. He will play no part in the return on Tuesday, however, as the Italian side attempt to recover their 1-0 deficit, and adding to coach Claudio Ranieri's woes as his midfield is already shorn of Mauro Camoranesi due to a fractured rib.
