Olympique Lyonnais are resigned to losing striker Lisandro for up to a month with a groin strain, ruling him out of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League encounter away against Debreceni VSC.

Record signing
The €24m club-record signing from FC Porto put four goals past RSC Anderlecht in the UEFA Champions League play-offs and has struck twice in Ligue 1 since joining this summer, but Lyon will need to explore other options in Budapest as they look to build on their 1-0 opening-day win over ACF Fiorentina in Group E. "We're even thinking about using the next international break to give him some complete rest," commented coach Claude Puel. "Lisandro is still suffering due to his groin muscle and we need to make a decision. Our objective is to have everyone 100 per cent operational." The French club hope to have the Argentinian forward back for their Matchday 3 game at Liverpool FC on 20 October.
