Slovakia forward Filip Hološko will be out of action for at least two months after undergoing surgery on a broken foot sustained in Beşiktaş JK's 2-1 loss at PFC CSKA Moskva on Wednesday.

Lengthy absence
The 25-year-old was taken off 34 minutes into the UEFA Champions League fixture as his side suffered a second successive Group B defeat, following a 1-0 home reverse against Manchester United FC on Matchday 1. Hološko looks likely to miss Beşiktaş's next three UEFA Champions League games, and possibly even their final fixture when CSKA visit on 8 December. The former FC Slovan Liberec and Manisaspor striker will also be absent as Slovakia meet Slovenia next Saturday, needing to avoid defeat to seal their place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals. He has scored one goal in five Super League appearances this season for titleholders Beşiktaş.
