First choice
Storari joined Milan in 2007 from FC Messina Peloro, but established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper only this season after returning from loan spells at Levante UD, Cagliari Calcio and ACF Fiorentina. Two days after suffering the injury in training, the 32-year-old missed his first game of the season on Sunday when he was replaced by Dida for the 2-1 victory over AS Roma. He has been ruled out of both UEFA Champions League games against Real Madrid CF on Wednesday and on 3 November, but could return for the home meeting with Olympique de Marseille on 25 November.
