Mohamed Sissoko will not feature when Juventus travel to Maccabi Haifa FC and FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the UEFA Champions League because of a thigh injury sustained during the 5-1 defeat of UC Sampdoria on Wednesday.

Absentees
The 24-year-old midfielder has been ruled out for up to a month with the problem, which comes less than two weeks after he made his return from a foot injury which had sidelined him since March. It is a blow for coach Ciro Ferrara, who is also without the services of Vincenzo Iaquinta, Alessandro Del Piero, Martín Cáceres, Hasan Salihamidžić, Claudio Marchisio and Jonathan Zebina. "We are not lucky with injuries at the moment. I am sorry for Momo but I think we can do well without him," said Ferrara. There is some good news, however, in the shape of Tiago, who has recovered from a thigh injury of his own. Juventus are second in Group A with five points from three games ahead of Tuesday's match in Israel.
