While FC Girondins de Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc cannot wait for the conclusion of a UEFA Champions League quarter-final that has played on the minds of his squad, his Olympique Lyonnais counterpart Claude Puel is preaching caution despite taking a 3-1 advantage into the second-leg of the all-Ligue 1 tie.

Laurent Blanc, Bordeaux coach
I'm looking forward to this match and time is dragging by. Since the start of the year people have been talking a bit negatively about Bordeaux, and with some reason, and it is now up to the players to put things right. This is the game they have dreamed about. We are capable of pulling off a surprise against an excellent Lyon team.

Everyone must believe we are capable of it: players, staff, fans. We know what we have to do. We are going through a difficult period. We are aware of that. Lyon will be very motivated but it is up to us to play our game. We have to reproduce the game we played at Lyon but without the errors we made there. We have to be good in every area to pull this off.

Claude Puel, Lyon coach
The momentum is with us, but we have to be careful of over-confidence. Both teams can qualify so we will have to approach the match in the right way. We will play our own game, and we'll try to score here. We'll need to produce again in an attacking sense to put them in trouble; we're not happy with the first-leg scoreline, we'll have to score again here.

Champions League matches are generally open and that will be the case tomorrow. We're only thinking about this match, nothing beyond that. We will try to play the best game possible. We are not qualified yet and will have to produce a big performance to go through. Both clubs have the same will to go through; there's no difference for me. We know anything is possible.
