Attacking midfielder Jérémy Pied and goalkeeper Rémy Vercoutre have signed two-year extensions to their contracts at Olympique Lyonnais which will bind them to the club until 2014.

The 21-year-old Pied scored his first league goal for Lyon this season, and has featured in all five of their UEFA Champions League Group B fixtures. Vercoutre, 30, has been playing second fiddle to Hugo Lloris in Europe this season, having previously served as Grégory Coupet's deputy. Lyon are already certain of a last-16 place and could yet top their section with a win against Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC on Matchday 6 while also remaining in strong Ligue 1 contention.
